Board of Commissioners

Recreation District #1 is governed by a board of seven commissioners who are qualified voters, residents of the district, and are appointed by the Parish Council.

The Board of Commissioners meets on the third Wednesday of each month at 6:30PM. Advisory committees established by the Board of Commissioners convene as necessary. Meeting notices are posted in accordance with applicable Open Meetings and Sunshine Law requirements.
