Lacrosse Summer Camp


Pelican Park is very excited about holding a summer Lacrosse camp for girls and boys, ages 7-12. Richard Aberle the head Lacrosse coach from Lyndon State College in Lyndonville, Vermont, will be the head coordinator. Richard will be bringing 4 of his college players to assist him in the camp.

This camp is designed to teach beginners and intermediate players the fundamentals and the game of Lacrosse. In an effort to grow lacrosse on the Northshore, there will be a camp offered for ages 13-18 in the afternoon by Northshore Lacrosse.

REGISTRATION WILL BE HELD MAY 7TH - FRIDAY, MAY 24TH, 2013
  • The camp will be held over 4 days
  • Monday, June 3 - Thursday, June 6
  • 9:00am until 12:00pm each day.
  • There is a 40 player minimum to hold the camp, with a maximum of 75 players.
  • Tennis balls will be used in place of Lacrosse balls for the clinic.
  • Participants will need to supply their own Lacrosse stick.
  • The age as of cutoff date is August 31, 2013
  • There is no other equipment required for the camp such as helmets, gloves or pads
  • If you have other equipment such as helmets, gloves or pads it’s your option to wear them. This is due to the camp using tennis balls in place of lacrosse balls.

Cost: $91.00 per player

"THE PINES" DISC GOLF COURSE NOW OPEN!

disc golf
Disc golf is played much like traditional golf. Instead of a ball and clubs, players use a flying disc, or Frisbee® and can be played by all ages. 

The course will be located at the north end of the Park in the tree areas. The course will be open for first come, first serve play except when rented for tournaments.
